Imago - Episode 17 - Norwegian Butt Slam

In episode 17 of Imago, "Norwegian Butt Slam," our heroes take some time to discuss leads, get some brief investigating done, and argue over which leads should have priority. Later most of the group investigates Dale's ex-girlfriend - the one reportedly with powers of her own - while Violet follows up on her oncology appointment.

Sometimes you're home and you're sick and it's a Friday night. When that happens, it's time for hi-jinx on the Information Superhighway! In this case it means I throw up a raw as hell snippet of ridiculous conversation from our last game. It's under two minutes, it may not be worth your time. Plague!

It occurs to me I should probably make a quick update RE 1/24's episode 17 (or lack thereof). I have the plague, it's like something out of Fringe. I've officially thrown in the towel on finishing off ep 17 during this week *and* then having ep 18 ready for 1/31, not gonna happen. Ep 17 will be up this coming Sunday (1/31). To make up for it if any of you would like a small zip lock baggie of plague snot just go ahead and send me mail.


Imago - Episode 16 - The Bubble Bandito

It's episode 16 AKA the season two premiere AAKA "The Bubble Bandito." Our protagonists work to regroup after their return trip from The City goes slightly awry. Faced with their first work day after the long three day weekend, decisions regarding things like jobs and the possibility of some time off must be addressed. Police scanners are purchased, cars are stolen, disturbing news hits the airwaves. All this and more in episode 16 of Imago!

Season one is finished! Fifteen episodes! That's like just about three months! With episode 01 we had barely any editing, recorded with our backup laptop microphone, and rarely remembered not to click our pens or to announce who was doing what.

By episode fifteen we had a new mixer that was working much better with our new microphones. We had sound effects, plenty of editing (trust me, it's for the best), and I think we're all better about using our words as opposed to body language. It's been exhausting!

OHPLUSALSO now we have super-awesome-Liz-approved cables that have finally finished the job on improving sound quality. I think it was episode 18 or 19 when we started using them, so look forward to that!

Thanks for the attention, you know we need it! :D

Episode 13 "Mushy Pop-Tarts"! Episodes don't get much more important than this one. Things start off with disagreements and threats over how to handle Albert Jefferson. Later the group finds time to catch a fancy bite to eat and go over what they know and possible next moves. Things start to look uncertain when a few dicey tests of courage threaten to derail their plans, but in the end a monumental risk is taken; will the group's efforts finally put some much needed answers within their grasp? DON'T miss episode 13!

Man. Give the players too many leads, too much freedom, and a game with access to cars and planes and you just watch the time required to prep for a game skyrocket. Next game is definitely going to be in the dark ages. Wait, no, no wheels. Fire and rocks and nothing else! Caveman game!
